Future is dedicated to shaping the design agenda for the 21st century by creating innovative design, technology and business collaborations. The focus is on creative thinking, inventive design solutions and the exploration of new technologies. By supporting business startups and forming professional partnerships in the region, FUTURE is driving The Cleveland Institute of Art and its partners forward as leaders in the new economy.
The center provides creative assistance to companies through innovative solutions in design and technology. Advanced students and recent Institute graduates provide design and problem solving services to area businesses and non-profit organizations on a contract basis. Programs also include the Institute’s Professional Partnership Program, a special cooperative educational program that pairs advanced students with local arts and business organizations for the benefit of the host institutions. It also functions as a business incubator where advanced students and recent Institute graduates can develop new products that can be taken to market.
Additionally, the center serves as a design gallery showcasing groundbreaking work in design and technology. Design Values is currently on exhibit, featuring the work of alumni and exploring the positive impact design has on our culture.

Parking Info:
The Cleveland Institute of Art has arranged to have the gate to the rear parking lot at the Joseph McCullough Center open. Entrance to the lot is from E. 117th St., reachable from either Euclid Ave., just past the JMC Bldg., or Mayfield Rd. just before the railroad overpass. In lieu of this, attendees can park in the metered lot on the west side of the JMC Bldg.
