Return & Redirect to the Defrag Front Page

Thank you ALL for participating in Saturday's Defrag conference. We are collecting information now and will be mailing a summary and next steps within a week or so. If you have immediate questions, please email betseymerkel@gmail.com. Thank you for your time and efforts to build the Ohio Defrag network!

Next conference: Friday, April 13, 2007 and Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Lorain County Commuity College.

In a networked world things change fast. Our ability to take ideas to action quickly matters.

Participate Saturday, December 9th and connect to a full day of concurrent forums, presentations and workshops to "link and leverage" resources in the Ohio creative digital media industries.

We'll learn from Ohio leaders building innovations and collaborations in digital media, simulation and videogame development projects.

Participate in one hour interactive conversations with Ohio academic, business and government leaders to raise industry awareness of State resources and capabilities in rich media. We will identify next steps to strengthen Ohio as a global leader in the creative industries.

We'll take a close look at strategic outcomes, determine metrics we need to measure our success, describe the milestones along the way, and identify SMART (simple - measureable - aggressive - relevant - time sensitive) goals.

Topics include: education and curriculum development, serious gaming applications in entertainment and education, arts in digital media, a game design workshop for youth, facilities design for creative businesses and business development.
